The Desert Rocks (inspired by Turrican 2)
The video game Turrican and its stunning soundtrack have been with me for many, many years, and I always wanted to make a tribute to it: my personal thank you in some ways, taking inspiration from the original song, and putting my very own spin on it.
The idea for the lyrics, on the other hand, comes from the italian comic book "Nathan Never" and its second episode, which I can translate in "The Black Monolite", where the main topics are (false) religions, nostalgia for the past, and the movie "2001: A Space Odyssey".
I just wanna add a special thought in this moment to Luigi Piccatto - his family, his friends, and his fans.
